Came across a rare enough find in a pull a part yard, a Mercedes W110 Fintail (I believe it was a 200D, with a manual and brown!)

Motor, glass, and interior were all there, body looked mostly straight too. One of those things that stops you in your tracks when you're wading through the mid-90's mess of pickups and econoboxes typically found here.

Also, if anyone needs a SAAB 2.0 Turbo motor, they've a complete one. This was an odd one to come by too.

What kind of pull apart yard is this??? Mine is just a collection of badly stripped early 00's GM stuff.

Rescue the poor thing! Just grab a nice and cheap Chevy v8 to get it back on the road where it belongs.

You should go get some bits off of it. I guarantee that you could make a massive profit selling them on eBay.

I love when rare/weird stuff shows up at the junk yard. Once there was 4 2cvs and a Subaru FF-1 at my local yard.

I got a rare Range Rover Classic LWB Memory Seat ECU here a couple months ago for $5 that I sold on eBay for $660. They've got a few gems now and then if you know what to look for.

Most of the interior trim bits were gone from this, seats and door panels were there. Seems like someone restoring one needed a dash and got this as a parts car.

It's one that's about an hour north of Seattle, they're totally the sort of neighborhood that should only be 90's and early 00's GM bits too, but oddities pop up.

If I had the room I totally would. I was here looking for some trim parts for my GF's Bronco we're going to sell soon.

It must have a bad frame. Why else is it in salvage? because that body is clean.

Very possible, I didn't investigate too deep under it besides to see that there was no rust in the pan. This yard is one of the nicer ones in the area, they even charge to enter it (nobody else in the area does up here). They'll pull cars from residences or property for free to scrap or part out (also to fix and sell with rebuilt titles). The pick a part side of the yard is maybe 1/5th of their total size.

I need the wiring harness, crank position sensor and that redtop DI Cassette.
